Description

Early Pattern Waist Belt with Sewn on Keeper

Early war pattern, leather waist belt with sewn leather keeper. (Does not include buckle). Pre-punched and ready for your own favorite two-prong buckle. For US issue belts we will put on the correct ordnance inspector stamp, or if requested, confederate belts can be stamped with one of the confederate makers' stamps (C.S. Arsenal Baton Rouge, Selma Arsenal, or Augusta Ga.). Please specify US or CS and which stamp. Waist size from 46 to 50 inches add $6.00, for sizes 50 - 54 & 54 -58 add $12.00, and $17 for size 58 - 62 inches.

NOTE: Please measure your waist over all of the clothing that you are going to wear the belt over and not just your waist size.

Original Leather Set belonging to Union Corporal Oliver Godfrey, 14th New Hampshire Infantry. Note that the sewn keeper is worn under the belt as the buckle did not fit through the keeper as issued.
