Enlisted Cavalry Gauntlets
Made from leather, these enlisted men's gauntlets have with wide cuffs without embroidery. Although 1861 Army Regulations do not mention the wear of gauntlets/gloves by enlisted, many cavalry soldiers would procure these items through private purchase. Available in small, medium, large and extra large sizes.
Original Cavalry Gauntlets and Sash belonging to MG Fitzhugh Lee, nephew of General Robert E. Lee. The gauntlets were a gift from Mr. Collie on October 22, 1864.
