Artillery Gunner's Fuse Pouch with Belt
This pouch, complete with leather belt is used to carry either fuses or friction primers by the gunner. The
box is relatively tapered at the bottom to accommodate the tapered
shape of a screw in fuse. Many of the shells were brought to the field
using fuse plugs, the artillerist would install the fuse during the
fight so as to keep the powder dry and fresh. Hand-cut and stitched by our Master Leathersmith from Hermann Oak leather. Made in Gettysburg, PA.
