CS Snake Buckle (English Import) The Snake Buckle was typically used by Confederates during the Civil War. The shortage of domestically manufactured accoutrements forced the Confederacy to turn to Great Britain as a source. Confederate belts and leathers were purchased through companies such as S. Isaac, Campbell & Company and Fraser Trenholm & Company, generally conforming to British-Army regulation gear for the Enfield Rifle. This belt buckle is for use on our sword belts (LEATH-099) or NCO/Officer belts (LEATH-30). Made in the U.S.A.
