Civil War period trousers are designed to be worn "looser" and have a higher rise than today's trousers. Legs are left un-hemmed so that you may hem them to the length that you want. By regulation, Union enlisted color is sky blue, however dark blue is also available. Confederate issue is the medium gray. Also available is dark (Richmond) gray.
