General has 26 total buttons Major General has 28 total buttons). Made of dark blue wool and lined with black cotton, with muslin sleeve linings. Proper letter style buttons for branch of service. Skirt is usually worn about 3/4 distance from the hip to the knee. Has an inside left breast pocket, and pockets with flaps in the folds of the skirt. Skirt pockets with flaps are included on the Senior Officer's Frock coat. Please note that shoulder straps are not included with officers' uniforms, but can be ordered separately (see below), there is an additional cost to have the shoulder boards attached.
