Pietta Confederate Dance & Brothers Revolver, .44 Cal

The John Henry Dance & Brother handgun manufactory began in the winter of 1861-1862 with money being advanced from the state of Texas. The 1862 Dance & Brothers revolver was designed with a mix of features from both the Dragoon and 1851 Navy revolvers. The significant idea behind this revolver's design was ease of loading so the frame's recoil shields were removed to make it "flat-sided". The Dance model features: case hardened steel frame, confederate style octagonal-to-round barrel, blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, and blade front sight. No conversion cylinder is available for this model. Manufactured in Italy.

When ordering reproduction firearms from Regimental Quartermaster, please be aware of the following: Due to state law in New Jersey, we are unable to ship firearms there. We can not ship our reproduction Firearms outside of the United States. Before firing any of the listed firearms, we recommend a thorough cleaning of the rifle or revolver. We offer guides on care and maintenance of the firearms in our book section. We recommend that any live firing should be done with an experienced shooter present. Must be 18 years of age to purchase any firearms. NOTE: ALL black powder musket and revolver shipments require an adult signature for delivery!
